James Blunt：《1973》

唱片的封套让我想起了前不久在某画廊看到的一张图片，人物的轮廓因为那些小相片而支离、模糊、遥远，看久了，便会想到那些点点清晰却又无法触摸的记忆，内心莫名其妙地伤感起来。

这是James Blunt的发行不久的第二张专辑。二年前的那张《Back to Bedlam》让这位曾经到科索袄打过仗的英国人，在全世界一炮走红。相信很多朋友多听过他的那首《You're Beautiful》：“My life is brilliant，My love is pure，I saw an angel……I saw you face in a crowded place，And I don't know what to do。You're beautiful，You're beautiful，You're beautiful，You're beautiful，it's true。”还有那首《Goodbye My Lover》。

就曲风而言，虽然新专辑比上一张要硬一些，也更好听了，但James Blunt早已被歌迷们熟悉的嗓音依然低沉如故，在百转千回的吟唱中倾诉着作为一个男人的那点忧郁和情思。对爱的直接的神伤式的表白，再加反复的咏叹，是James Blunt捕获歌迷的一个撒手锏，Annie， you had your dream on the bright lights；Annie， you're a star……Simon，You're getting olde；Simona，Wish I had known that……这类歌曲，只要旋律不是特别差，都会流行的。外国人喜欢，中国人更喜欢。费翔唱过，张学友唱过，还有戴军唱的那个《阿莲》也是，听多了会觉得肉麻，但James Blunt不存在这个问题，对于英文歌词，我们早已习惯了忽略不计。
